University of Alabama head football coach Nick Saban became the latest in a long line of great Crimson Tide sports figures inducted into the Alabama Sports Hall of Fame. 

Saban arrived at the University of Alabama in January of 2007 and quickly revitalized the Crimson Tide program, returning it to the nation's elite by the 2008 season. He won his first BCS National Championship at Alabama in 2009 before etching his name in the annals of college football with back-to-back titles in 2011 and 2012.

The Alabama Sports Hall of Fame will honor Saban for his accomplishments when they enshrine and celebrate the Class of 2013 during a banquet at the Sheraton Birmingham Hotel.

The Southeastern Conference and CBS Sports announced on Wednesday that the University of Alabama's football game against Texas A&M, slated for Saturday, September 14, at Kyle Field in College Station, Texas, will be nationally televised by CBS with kickoff scheduled for 2:30 p.m. Central Time.

This year's contest will mark the sixth football game between the two schools.

CBS also nationally televised last year's Alabama-Texas A&M game in Tuscaloosa on November 10, 2012, in which the Aggies handed Alabama a 29-24 loss, the Tide's only setback en route to the 2012 BCS national championship.

University of Alabama sophomore Ryan Kellywas one of 44 players selected to the 2013 Rimington Trophy Spring Watch List the Rimington Committee announced on Tuesday. The Rimington Trophy annually goes to the nation's top center.

Kelly backed up 2012 Rimington Trophy winner Barrett Jonesa season ago, playing in 10 games, and earning SEC All-Freshman recognition.

The 2013 Riminigton Trophy Spring Watch List includes 17 returning players from the 2012 Watch List. The SEC leads the way with nine players while the PAC-12 and the Mountain West Conference check in with five players each.
