New York City's Jim Dolan, CEO of Cablevision Systems Corporation and chairman of ~Madison Square Garden, may be a superhero, but he doesn't spend his evenings fighting crime. JD & the Straight Shot, a straight-up blues-rock bar band fronted by the successful businessman/musician, began as a loosely knit collective that only played company picnics. In time, that collective became a tight unit consisting of JD himself, guitarist and chief songwriter Bruce Koplow, bass player Sue Williams, drummer David Longworth, and keyboard player Jonny Rosch. The band released its electrifying debut, Nothing to Hide, in 2005.
